Jason Momoa creates one-of-one Bentley Blower Jnr with Hedley Studios
Jason Momoa – actor, filmmaker and craftsman - has commissioned a one-off Bentley Blower Jnr as a Hedley Studios client and is due to take delivery this summer. Momoa visited the Bicester atelier to meet the team, experience the Bentley Blower Jnr and other Hedley Studios creations, and begin shaping a car that reflects his personal world.
The commission features in the latest season of the HBO Max documentary series On The Roam.
A Bentley Blower Jnr with a personal story
Momoa’s Bentley Blower Jnr has been developed with more than 100 bespoke or specially created elements, each chosen to give the car its own character and meaning.
The body is finished in Momoa Crimson, a rich, dark red created specifically for the project. It is paired with aged brass detailing across the bodywork, including brass fenders and wheel arches treated to develop a natural patina over time. The result is a warmer, more elemental take on the Blower Jnr — one designed to feel lived-in, tactile and personal from the start.
Several details are rooted in Momoa’s own story. The dashboard is crafted from Koa wood, native to Hawaii, where Momoa was born, and long associated with surfboards, instruments and traditional craft. The radiator and personal number plate carry a “666” badge in tribute to his grandfather, who was nicknamed “El Diablo”. Inside, a bespoke “Momoa 1 of 1” nameplate marks the car as a true one-off.
One of the most distinctive elements is the hand-carved brass skull drive selector, created from a solid block of brass and requiring more than 100 hours of hand work. The steering wheel also carries the On The Roam logo, a symbol shared by Momoa and his creative team as tattoos.

He had a really clear vision of what he wanted to integrate into the car to make it a true one-off and personal to him: the story of his grandfather, the antiqued brass finishes, the unique paint shade and the wooden dash from his place of birth.
“What stood out most was the sense of fun and energy Jason brought to the whole process. He was completely engaged with the team behind the build, and that made the project feel genuinely collaborative from the start. It’s been a real honour to help bring his vision to life.”

Every Bentley Blower Jnr is hand-built in the UK and created in partnership with Bentley Motors as an 85% scale, fully electric recreation of the 1929 Bentley 4½ Litre Supercharged. For Momoa’s car, that foundation became the starting point for a more personal story, and one shaped by heritage, family, materials and the joy of making something by hand
